Are you looking for Family Records?  Please continue reading and follow the links.

A Parish Church has existed for centuries on this site and thousands of baptisms, weddings and funerals have been held in the present and past church buildings.

  • Burial records prior to 1946,
  • Baptismal records prior to 1986,
  • Confirmation Registers prior to 2008,
  • Parish Magazines prior to 2002,

If you have enquiries about tracing records of baptisms, marriages and funerals in your family’s past you can write to them or use their website:

and a list of the documents stored with them is to be found in the National Archives website:

If your enquiry relates to records after those dates listed above, (ie. those that are kept at church and not at the record office), please apply IN WRITING to The Vicar, Sandbach Parish Church, The Cobbles, Sandbach, Cheshire CW11 1AT.  A statutory fee is usually charged for searching these records.

We are not able to supply information about grave stones or monuments in the churchyard.  We believe that once there was a record which was unfortunately destroyed.

Good luck with your family history research.
