Sun 26 Jul 2020 Parish Eucharist Sunday 26th July

We are please to announce that there will be a Parish Eucharist will be this Sunday at 10am. Social distancing measures will be in place. Face coverings are strongly recommended to be worn.

Sun 19 Jul 2020 Services Resume

Services will resume with some restrictions to enable social distancing. There will be an 8am communion (limited numbers), and Sunday Worship at 10am.  For more details: Church Service Guidance

Plans are under way for a Cream Tea in the garden. The social Committee are planning in July to have a number of cream teas in the garden of up to 6 people (visiting) to raise money for church funds. We are delighted to announce the appointment of the Reverend Briony (Bee) Boyde as the next vicar of St Mary’s Sandbach.  This is subject to all legal formalities being fulfilled. We look forward to Bee joining us in the very near future.

Sun 17 May 2020 New Bishop of Chester

It was announced on 12th May, by Downing Street, that the new Bishop of Chester has been appointed.

He is the  Rt Revd Mark Tanner. He is currently the Bishop of Berwick in the Diocese of Newcastle. He will be the 41st Bishop of Chester. We wish him all the best in his new post, and look forward to meeting him.

Sat 2 May 2020 Update from the PCC

The PCC were able to meet by zoom this week.

During this difficult time when our church buildings are closed, we are still a church; meeting virtually for prayer services and fellowship, loving our neighbours by offering practical support to the vulnerable, and caring for our communities.

As a direct result of the church closure, these important activities are being hindered by a significant reduction in our funding. Therefore, we are asking you to help improve the current level of funding by considering the following alternatives:
